Kerri Walsh Jennings, one of the world’s best Beach volleyball players. She is a mother, an athlete, a daughter and a wife balancing all at once and that too near about perfectioning them all together. Kerrie Walsh Jennings was born on 15 August 1978 in Santa Clara, California. She was born to Tim and Margie Walsh. She has 3 siblings as a younger brother and two has an older brother, Marte, two younger sisters, Kelli and KC. Kerrie Walsh Jennings has a great supporting family with a husband and 3 kids, they being Casey Jennings, a U.S men’s beach volley player. Kerrie Walsh Jennings is great inspiration for all especially because she brings in the enthusiasm to be a beach volley player and managing being a wife, daughter and mother.




 As rightly quoted by Kerrie that “The balancing act of motherhood and a career, and being a wife, is something that I don't think I'll ever perfect, but I love the challenge of it.” She has set herself as great role model for the youth by bringing great honors to U.S by winning 3 gold medals in the Olympics of 2004, 2008, 2012 along with her competing team mate Misty May-Treanor. Her qualifications in academic arena includes her high school studies, she completed at the Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California in 1996. Further she went to Stanford University and graduated from Stanford in 2001 with a degree in American studies. She had a tag associated with her since college as the best volley player at college level.. Earlier in the college, she asked for the autograph of Misty May-Treanor being unaware that she will be her future partner and would fetch her 3 gold medals, no doubt with her hard word and teamwork. . In 1999, Walsh-Jennings joined the United States National Team (indoor volleyball) and was named to the 2000 Olympic Team, which finished fourth in Sydney. In 2001, Walsh-Jennings moved her game to the beach and got a partner as Misty May-Treanor.

As a team, the duo mastered the game of beach volley and made the people worldwide go mad, as they could not believe the miraculous shots shown by the two. With great success coming all the way to Kerrie Walsh Jennings, their team after the midst of an 89-game win streak, headed to the 2004 Athens Olympics and winning the gold medal at Olympics. Next, in 2008, the duo broke their own records by winning 112 matches in a row and 19 consecutive tournaments. Counting as the success stories their team, Walsh Jennings and May-Treanor won 21 consecutive Olympic matches and only lost one set (to Austria in 2012) during their 11-year run together. This time in Rio Olympics 2016 Kerrie Walsh Jennings is teaming up with April Ross, whom she defeated earlier in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, held in London. To maintain her record, Kerrie Walsh Jennings is participating in Rio Olympics 2016 and wishes to get gold with the best of her capabilities as she balances motherhood, shoulder surgery, and still qualifying for her fifth Olympic Games with new partner April Ross.
